Archaeology team survey a cave in Monte Alegre, Brazil in 1991. There are many caves north and south along the Amzaon river. This is on the banks at Monte Alegre. It was full of bats, dark and moist. Fortunately the cave, Pedra Pintada, we excavated was not damp and only had a few bats.
